In this version of our dining chair, the front legs are extended up to support arms.
The armed chair fits great at the end of the table, by the front door, or next to the wood stove.
Inspired by simple Shaker chairs and Danish designers’ interpretation of the same designs.
Distilled to its simplest form, the chair is lightweight - both visually and physically.
The bent wood back cradles the lower back and is pinned to the rear legs in traditional Shaker fashion, but using brass instead of cherry or oak for the pins.
The seat is hand woven from twisted paper cord - a traditional technique used to weave seats in many furniture traditions from Appalachia to Scandinavia.

Chair Arms
The inside of the arms gently curves inwards to provide a little rear end clearance. The arm is fixed to the front leg with a visible through tenon.

Unlimited warranty for 5 years, during this time we will repair or replace anything that breaks, completely at our expense.
After 5 years we will continue to service your product for free, but will only require the customer to cover shipping expenses.
After 10 years we will continue to service your product, but will require the customer to cover shipping and repair costs.
**The woven seat is made from natural paper cord. Under normal use, the paper cord will stretch slightly and small openings in the weave may appear. This is part of the normal wear of this natural and hand woven seat.
